E giunte che vi sono, si mettono a cantare, a tripudiare, a saltare, a far giochi, ad eseguire sollazzi di vario genere per muovere ad allegrezza il dio e la dea per riconciliarli.” 

"The god is angry with the goddess, they no longer conjoin, they no longer speak to each other [...]. So these maidens come to the monastery to restore peace between them. And when they are there they begin to sing, rejoice, jump, play games, and perform various kinds of amusements to bring joy to the god and goddess in order to reconcile them."
